Domestic raw material from Northern Europe

All of our products are made from different 100% natural and 100% Finnish and Estonian domestic types of meat, such as chicken, lamb, deer and horse. Finnish products are reputable in Europe and all over the world. All of the sources are constantly checked and verified to be free of any antibiotics, preservatives or additives. This enables us to always guarantee the quality and freshness of the end-product, that you can feed to your pet carefree.

High nutritional value

The content of our freeze-dried raw products is about 90% of the original nutritional value, but only about 25% of the original weight. For example, a 100 g package has the same nutritional values as 400 g of raw food. Your pet can enjoy raw snacks either dry or moistened with water, in which case they resemble the original shape and texture of meat.

Sustainable and Environmental development

We at Best Barf want to be completely transparent to our customers. Sustainable development is one of our core values, which we believe in and want to be involved in development.

All our products are packed in simple, unbleached cardboard paper bags and boxes that leave a small ecological footprint. In addition, most of our products are packed only after we have received the order. It is also possible to order products in bulk and in larger packages, in order to reduce waste. These small actions in our production chain help to reduce the impact on the environment.

With modern freeze-drying technology, we save a significant amount of energy, because our raw food does not need to be stored in a cold chain. Freeze drying means removing all water and moisture from raw food using sublimation technology in a vacuum environment. This process preserves more than 90% of all necessary macro and micronutrients, making it much better than other drying or preserving techniques. On top of all that, the end result – a nutrient-rich raw snack is much more energy-efficient because it doesn’t need to be kept in the freezer until it’s used.
